When applying for the grant, you can use either the WorkSafe Application Reference Number (WRN) or your WorkCover Employer Number (WEN). The WRN is issued when you submit an online application for WorkCover Insurance (you will also receive an automated email with the WRN).
The WRN format is: NR-XXXXXX-XXXXXX.
If you are unsure of your WEN, please refer to the top right hand corner of your WorkCover Insurance premium notice or certificate of currency. It will be listed as the 'Employer Number' and is under the 'Date of Issue'.

Delay in registration processing
WorkCover Insurance is mandatory for most business's employing workers in Victoria and we appreciate that a WorkCover Employer Number (WEN) is a requirement for the Business Support Fund made available by the Victorian Government.
We have received a large increase in applications for WorkCover Insurance and therefore there will be delays in finalising your application. Thank you for your patience.
