About the partnership

WorkSafe is the Major Partner of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation (WBCF).

The WBCF is a not-for-profit registered community-focused charity that operates independently from the football club, but leverages its trusted brand to deliver community capacity building and impact programs, particularly to youth and culturally and linguistically diverse participants.

WorkSafe's support helps the Foundation reach community members from Melbourne and Victoria’s west. Providing WorkSafe with the opportunity to directly engage with many Victorian workers from diverse background who are identified as high-risk 'vulnerable workers'.

The Foundations deliver community programs in the following areas:

• Health and wellbeing
• Youth leadership
• Cultural diversity
• Social inclusion
• Community advocacy

This partnership will help raise awareness of workplace health and safety among existing Victorian employers and employees and those starting work in Victoria for the first time.

WorkSafe receives the opportunity to integrate important messaging through these programs as well as advertising, branding and communication opportunities but does not include hospitality.
