About the partnership

The WBCF is a not-for-profit registered community-focused charity. It operates separately from the football club. The WBCF uses its brand to:

• help the community use their skills to improve the quality of life for residents
• impact programs particularly for youth from different cultures.

WorkSafe's support helps the Foundation reach Melbourne and Victoria’s west community. The Foundation helps WorkSafe engage with workers from diverse backgrounds. These include those identified as high-risk 'vulnerable workers'.

The Foundation delivers community programs in:

• health and wellbeing
• youth leadership
• cultural diversity
• social inclusion
• community advocacy.

This partnership helps raise awareness of workplace health and safety among:

• existing Victorian employers and employees
• those starting work in Victoria for the first time.

WorkSafe shares important messaging through these programs. This includes advertising, branding and communication opportunities but not hospitality.
