WorkWell LGBTIQA+ Toolkit
A practical resource for employers to help ensure a safe and inclusive workplace for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual (LGBTIQA+) and more workers.

This Toolkit has been co-designed with the LGBTIQA+ Community
Supported by WorkSafe Victoria’s WorkWell Respect Fund, Being Valued (2023-2025) has co-designed these resources with LGBTIQA+ communities, centring community voices throughout their development.
These resources aim to support workplace leaders to create safe, inclusive and gender affirming workplace cultures for LGBTIQA+ workers. Together, we are working to create safer, more inclusive workplaces for everyone.

“The WorkWell LGBTIQA+ Toolkit is a valuable and practical resource that supports workplaces to identify and address risks to the health, safety, and the wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ employees. By combining an occupational health and safety lens with lived-experience insight, it provides useful guidance and tools that help organisations move beyond reactive responses, toward safer and more inclusive workplace systems. I commend Your Community Health, Transgender Victoria, and WorkSafe for their collaborative approach in developing this resource.”
Ro Allen, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner
"The WorkWell LGBTIQA+ Workplace Inclusion Toolkit provides clear guidance on occupational health and safety obligations for LGBTIQA+ employees. Importantly, it extends beyond compliance, offering practical and accessible strategies to support cultural and systemic change that strengthen workplaces and benefit all employees. I extend my congratulations to the partner organisations – Your Community Health, Transgender Victoria and WorkSafe – for their significant contribution in developing this important resource."
Joe Ball, Victorian Commissioner for LGBTIQA+ Communities
