Led by the Australian Council of Trade Unions. This project engaged with managers, workers and Health and Safety Representatives to prioritise mental health and safety in the same way as physical safety.

The Australian Council of Trade Unions championed industry wide change

Workers, Health and Safety Representatives, Managers and Leaders were engaged in education and action planning to gain a better understanding of how work-related factors can be used to facilitate mentally safer systems of work.

A campaign about recognising the impact that the workplace itself has on workers’ mental health.

Mentally healthy workplaces identify and control mental health risks

This project provided user friendly online resources to drive industry wide change to the way mental health risks are approached. Workers and Health and Safety Representatives were encouraged to raise concerns. Managers gained a better understanding of how mental health impacts on business and felt more equipped to take action to identify and control mental health risks.
