A project to promote the mental health and wellbeing of contact centre workers

Wellbeing on Call was a 20-month pilot project funded through the WorkWell Mental Health Improvement Fund.

The project aimed to

  • promote the mental health and wellbeing of contact centre workers
  • improve levels of job satisfaction and engagement
  • build positive leadership styles in team leaders
  • support organisations' overall capacity to thrive

The project used a co-design approach to develop a series of interventions focused on leadership, job design and mental health literacy to create positive working environments within which contact centre workers can thrive.
