This category acknowledges an individual, group or organisation that has achieved or influenced significant improvements to occupational health and safety within their workplace, industry or the greater Victorian community.

Open to all Victorian-based businesses and workers, entries must demonstrate strong leadership qualities that have resulted in improved health and safety outcomes. You have done the work, so why not get recognised for your commitment to workplace safety.

Please note

  • Entries that focus on solutions based outcomes should enter the 'Workplace Health and Safety Solution of the Year' category.
  • Employee elected health and safety representatives (HSRs) should enter the 'Health and Safety Representative of the Year' category.

How does the individual, group or organisation demonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety?

Achievement

Has the achievement lead to a significant improvement in health and safety?

Transferability

Can the achievement / improvement be utilised in other workplaces?

Is the achievement outstanding considering any barriers faced?

Evaluation

Is the achievement a sustainable health and safety outcome?
