Content guide

Victoria is a diverse and inclusive multi-cultural community. It's home to people with different abilities, people of all ages, people from different backgrounds and cultures, and people that speak different languages at home and in the workplace. It's not always possible, but we try to write simply and directly and use plain English to communicate our message. We follow the GOV.AU style guide and we aim for a year 6 (age 12) reading level.

Design guide

Design at WorkSafe means more than branding, user interfaces and visual patterns. Design is a set of human-centred principles that guide user experience decisions. Our goal is to create a website that's simple and distraction free. Minimalist but not boring. Where the white space is in the right place. It's a rigorously tested website designed for people of all abilities and it's certified WCAG 2.1 AA compliant by Vision Australia.

Website release notes

Since July 2018 we've managed a continuous improvement cycle and deployed new code every two weeks to improve and stabilise the products, and fix some of the bugs that inevitably creep in. These release notes give you an insight into how our websites are evolving, and what we're working on right now.

We're currently updating this page. It'll be ready soon!
