Website playbook
A starter kit to help you understand the insights, rules, roles and principles that go into designing and continuously improving WorkSafe's websites.

Content style manual
This is WorkSafe’s manual for anyone who writes and edits internal and external content. It's an easy-to-use single reference point. It helps promote consistency across all content owned by WorkSafe.
This manual is based on the Australian Government Style Manual which the Victorian Government recommends.
Using this manual will help you create clear, consistent and accessible content.

Design guide
Design at WorkSafe means more than branding, user interfaces and visual patterns. Design is a set of human-centred principles that guide user experience decisions. Our goal is to create a website that's simple and distraction free. Minimalist but not boring. Where the white space is in the right place. It's a rigorously tested website designed for people of all abilities and it's certified WCAG 2.1 AA compliant by Vision Australia.

Website release notes
Since July 2018 we've managed a continuous improvement cycle and deployed new code every two weeks to improve and stabilise the products, and fix some of the bugs that inevitably creep in. These release notes give you an insight into how our websites are evolving, and what we're working on right now.
We're currently updating this page. It'll be ready soon!
