What it contains

This document gives GPs guidance on how they can help an injured worker return to work. It gives suggestions for:

• using your consultation time to communicate with your patient and others to support getting back to or staying at work
• participating in a GP Return to Work Case Conference
• making a phone call to the employer
• visiting your patient’s worksite
