Young people are ever-changing, and many aren't familiar with WorkSafe or their rights to a safe workplace.
To keep up and catch them early we've created interactive education resources to help teachers educate their year 9 to 12 students on OHS so their prepared with as much knowledge as possible when they start work. The program is flexible. Teachers can choose to use all the modules and interactive classroom activities, or select the ones that complement their lesson plans.
In this Health and Safety Month 2023 interactive session, teachers and senior staff can hear from schools involved in the pilot about their experiences and the benefits they've seen, and learn about the next phase of WorkSafe 101's implementation.
